Our Services
Our goal for 2005 is to deliver 100,000 meals free of charge.
In addition to our core Daily Meals Program, we also operate the Chez What? Program, Congregate Meals and a Baby Food Program to babies of HIV+ mothers.
We also support the families of eligible HIV+ parents. A Loving Spoonful currently feeds an active client base of 250 people with the help of four full time paid staff members and approximately 170 active volunteers.
Program staff and volunteers also offer many nutritional support services such as one-pot cooking classes, one-on-one nutritional counselling, education sessions, referral services, and budgeting and shopping list support.
