Graduated from Emily Carr College of Art and Design with the Merit Award for painting in 1981.

Her process of art making over the past 20 years has included painting on canvas or paper, cutting, layering, collage and weaving canvas.

• 

The pieces almost always have an oriental influence and have included long narrow screens, vertical spirit houses, huge vases, leaves, prayer rug collages, carpet related images and tarps with grommets.
