In Kind Donations
A Loving Spoonful is always looking for in-kind or surplus donations. There are many different types of items we accept, please go to our in-kind donation page to learn more.
Gift in Kind
A Loving Spoonful is a volunteer driven not-for-profit organization. In kind donations help to reduce costs and the charity can allocate more funds towards meals and in turn help more people who need meal support.
Items that we are in constant need of include:
- Donated protein items for large batch cooking
- Vegetables for large batch cooking
- Non-perishable food items for snack packs
- Hotel pans and restaurant wares for our commercial kitchen
Live and Silent Auction Items
Prior to Covid 19, every year A Loving Spoonful produced two large scale in-house fundraising events where we need door prizes, as well as live and silent auction items. These events help raise thousands of dollars for our meals programs.
Great auction items include:
- Unique Experiences
- Local trips
- Jewelry
- Designer clothing/handbags
- Gift Certificates (spas, dinners, hotels, etc)
